I) Safety glasses with side shields provide protection from flying objects and debris—but may not provide adequate protection from liquid splashes. When engage in an activity where there is a risk for liquid splash, goggles or a face shield must be worn.

II) Wear safety glasses according to your shops procedures. Utilize goggles or a face shield (over safety glasses) when you are engaged in any activity where there is a risk for liquid splash.

III) Consult MSDS for each chemical that you use to identify the hazards and review the precautions. Ensure that you have the proper equipment prior to working with a chemical or color.

IV) Ensure that eyewashes have at least 15 minutes of flow and are maintained. Eye washes that store solutions must be changed periodically according to manufacture recommendations.

V) Use care when pouring liquids and prepare for the unexpected.
